Manila Manor Board and Care Facility
Manila Manor is a facility licensed by the Department of Social Services to assist the elderly, 60 years of age and over, who need significant assistance with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, taking prescribed medications) but who do not need skilled nursing care.
Manila Manor is a group of small residential care facilities for the elderly with a maximum capacity of 6 residents in each home. Manila Manor has been in operations since 1986 in the San Fernando Valley. Presently, it has 3 locations: 2 in Reseda and 1 in Winnetka.
Manila Manor cares for he elderly in a home-like setting. It fosters independence, privacy and dignity in the individual. We assist the elderly to function at the maximum level. Trips to the movies, museums, shopping malls, and senior centers foster a continuing connection with the community where the resident lives.
Manila Manor admits residents 60 years of age and over who maybe alert or confused, continent or incontinent, ambulatory or non-ambulatory (requiring canes, walkers, wheelchairs), who may have been disabled by a stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, mild diabetes, blindness, deafness or other similar disabilities.
